I love my smartphone. I am addicted and not ashamed to admit it. There is just something about the thrill of finding a new app to download.
I am not alone in this boat. There are millions of Droids, iPhones, Google phones and Blackberries out there. Everyone has their own opinions of their phone. I have my own as well. I could spend hours upon hours in the Apple store. Yes, I have an iPhone. (No, I don’t work for Apple or any of it’s affiliates.)
I love the intelligent minds that created it. And, I am impressed at the rate at which the other companies have attempted to outsmart this smartphone. I was once a Blackberry owner and can’t understand why. I think the iPhone, including the new iPhone 4, has really set a standard. Why wouldn’t someone want such an intelligent phone? More importantly, why would you want any other?

To Scrappleby and other Scrappleby Times readers; I have to agree! I tote my Droid like I have some kind of fetal allergy and it is my epi-pen.
ReplyDeleteI was in a store recently and needed a solution to to a simple problem of price comparison. In a time of instant gratification,am I really going to spend the time or gas to go store to store or write it all down and take my notes home to research a laundry list of web sites one by one?
My solution? I cooly whip out my Droid, head over to my Google app marketplace, download Google shopper and use my barcode scanner to create a favorites list with a price comparison complete with customer ratings.
While I know this is a perfect example of consumerism at its best, I find that if my communication tool of choice can help me make the best decision on how to spend my next dollar it makes it all worth it!
